  • share work at the end of the residency in a final online exhibition
  • learn and lead on things together

The opening of my exhibition at the Bomb Factory Windows, Kingsway, Central London

It made me feel really proud to celebrate with everyone at the opening of my new exhibition which is taking place at the Bomb Factory in Central London. I talked about my paintings eloquently to a very captive audience . A Group of four teenage boys came to look at my work where I introduced myself as the artist. One of them asked me a question about the influences behind the paintings,  I explained that they started off as me looking how different communities behave within cities. These became initial drawings that I did at home, which are then translated into paintings onto canvas in the studio.

I wanted to show the Sync group artists to inspire them on in their Sync residency. The artwork they create in this residency could hopefully lead them onto bigger and greater things in the future.

Thinking about my own leadership style

I’m looking forward to talking  about different leadership styles today as I feel that my own leadership stye has developed over a period of time whilst being involved with this programme. I have been doing some drawings this week ready to share with the group.

Good to be back

It was great to be back working with Sync, co leading with Sarah again and meeting the new artists we’ll be working with every week. I enjoyed talking to them about their artwork and what inspires them to make their work.

As a leader, I want to share what inspires me and what I’ve been doing.

I enjoyed setting up my new exhibition on Tuesday at the Bomb Factory in central London, I feel I made some good decisions on how to display the work. I was worried when I was there as I haven’t done this since the Shift exhibition in Nottingham in 2024 but it came quite naturally. I’m now looking forward to the private view next Thursday to celebrate with ActionSpace,  family and friends.
