What motivates you to be the artist you are?

I can express myself better through art so I am motivated when people understand and appreciate what I am trying to say. I am usually quiet at gatherings but when people ask me about my art, I am able to participate in the conversation better. Making art also makes me happy and calm and forget my problems.
