안녕하세요.

저는 픽셀 킴, 김현우 작가입니다.

저는 경험과 상상을 픽셀 같은 작은 단위로 그립니다.

그리고 하루를 46개의 알람으로 나누어 살아갑니다.

어느 날, 비행기 사고 뉴스와 할머니의 죽음에

저는 큰 혼란을 느꼈습니다.

그때 저는 세밀한 픽셀 드로잉 대신, 무심하게 빙글빙글 이어지는

드로잉을 시작했습니다.

이 작품의 제목은 <혼돈의 멜로디>입니다. 다양한 굵기의 펜과 과슈로 그렸습니다.

캔버스의 네 모서리에서 시작된 선들은 가운데에 심장, 감정을 향해 흐릅니다.

붓질을 하다 보면 혼란이 음악처럼 흐르고 저의 감정은 조금씩 평온해 집니다.

이 드로잉은 낙서처럼 시작되었고, Sync 레지던시를 통해

‘감정 픽셀’로 이해하게 되었습니다.

작은 알람의 울림이 저의 하루를 완성하고 작은 픽셀 같은 감정과 에너지가 예술을 통해

우리의 삶을 아름답게 만든다고 생각합니다.

지금도 저의 픽셀은 계속 확장되고 있습니다.

Hello,

This work is called Melody of Chaos.

I used pens of different thicknesses and gouache.

Lines start from the four corners of the canvas and move toward the center—toward the heart, toward emotion.

As I paint, the confusion flows like music, and my feelings slowly become calm.

This drawing began as a simple doodle.

During the Sync residency, I came to understand it as Emotional Pixels.

Small alarms shape my day, and small pixel-like emotions
make our lives more beautiful.

Even now, my pixels are still expanding.
