My name is Jared Quinney, I’m an artist in Edmonton Alberta and welcome to my studio.
I am just a person who is learning through life. Developing new skills over time. I like to make work about nature, focusing on different animals and their habitats but I’m working on a project about NHL players right now. I just want to keep learning new things and have fun with my projects.
I am the 2025 Artist of the Year at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Art.
It’s an honour to be part of Sync, it’s been very weird the last couple of years. Life is changing constantly for me. When it’s changing it’s pretty cool. I hope to become more experienced, interested in learning some stuff and meeting some new people.
