September 10th marks the start of my Sync Leadership coaching program as one of six in this year’s cohort.

What makes someone choose to advocate for disability rights when it would be easier to stay silent? What invisible forces drive people to genuinely care for strangers?

As an artist, I know that true expression requires vulnerability. I’ve spent years watching people show up for each other in extraordinary ways, and I’ve also seen systems that make it harder for people to be their full selves.

Can we create organizational cultures where people don’t have to pick between success and authenticity? Where disability isn’t seen as something to accommodate, but as a perspective that makes us stronger?

Over the next three months, I want to understand the leadership that bridges that gap, the kind that doesn’t just talk about inclusion, but that actively dismantles barriers.
